PlayKote EPDM is synthetic rubber that’s coloured for the full thickness of the granule providing superior resistance to ultraviolet (UV) light, fading and wear.

PlayKote Precoat is manufactured by coating recycled SBR granules (derived from waste tyre reduction) with high quality pigments and polymers in addition to UV stabilizers.

Crumb rubber is derived from tyre rubber and is manufactured from either shredding and granulation or retread buffings.

PlayKote Synthetic Grass Infill reduces the potential for temperature to increase in the surface of synthetic grass.

PlayKote Binder 5762 has been specifically formulated to give the best elastic properties which are required for playground surfacing.

manufacturer’s instructions and when properly maintained is warranted for a period of 3 years against extreme colour fading of the product as mentioned below. The warranty does not cover the normal wear and tear of the product and does not include the whole installed system, which is the installing companies responsibility.

In a warranty case, Australian Surfacing Supplies will provide replacement materials at no charge. Therefore, the defective parts must be returned with all transportation charges prepaid by the owner to Australian
Surfacing Supplies for further analysis. Australian Surfacing Supplies reserves the right to decline a warranty case if the underlying reasons are not due to defects in material.

It is the owner’s responsibility to establish that the product was installed according to installer’s instructions and that the product was cleaned and handled properly.  This warranty does not cover any labour or other service charges incurred, or any parts not manufactured by Australian Surfacing Supplies.

Please note, under Australia’s extreme UV conditions all EPDM will fade to varying degrees.

Please note, Precoat SBR is an external colour coating on black SBR granule. Overtime and due to normal usage this coating will decrease and the surface will darken.

Australian Surfacing Supplies offers 3 years full manufacturers warranty on its products. Construction is guaranteed for 5 years. The construction in this respect means, all parts accessible for the user, except moving parts or wear and tear parts. Damage caused by improper use or vandalism is not covered by the guarantee. Australian Surfacing Supplies offers spare parts free of charge within the warranty period. If a product is defective due to vandalism or improper use, spare parts can be purchased from Australian Surfacing Supplies. Defect parts should be returned to Australian Surfacing Supplies.

Australian Surfacing Supplies is not liable for any costs related to the faulty or incorrect installation of the product that has been installed by a third party and/or customer.

Australian Surfacing Supplies warrants the items covered in this document in their original form to be free from defects in workmanship and material for a period of fifteen (15) years from the date of original purchase.

Abnormal use and/or abuse will nullify the warranty on any particular item. Abnormal deterioration and/or failure under normal use of items covered during the warranty period due to defects in workmanship or material shall be replaced with like (or, if unavailable, similar) components at no charge or at a prorated price as outlined below. Gradual loss of colour could occur and is not covered by this guarantee.

This warranty is void if the components have been damaged by accident, unreasonable use, neglect, improper installation, alteration, or any other cause not arising out of defects in material or workmanship of the components.

When tiles are replaced through warranty or otherwise, the appearance of the replacement tiles will vary from those already aged and weathered and is to be expected. Australian Surfacing Supplies will not warranty against damage to the locking system on the tiles if disassembled improperly (pulling, tearing, bending, etc.). Please use a putty knife to carefully unlock the modules.

Authorization and verification of signed warranty agreement must be obtained from Australian Surfacing Supplies before any merchandise can be replaced. Disassembly, return of component(s) and reinstallation is the responsibility of the buyer. Return to the buyer will be at expense of Australian Surfacing Supplies.

Australian Surfacing Supplies does not warranty the capability of any installer.

Australian Surfacing Supplies warrants to the client that:

• The synthetic surface has been installed in accordance with Australian Surfacing Supplies guidelines that relate directly to the surface supplied.
• The recommended adhesives and seaming tapes have been used and applied in accordance with the Australian Surfacing Supplies product and the supplier’s recommendations.
• All of the infill materials used are as per the application rates stated in the product specifications for the installed surface.
• All machinery used on the surface for installation is fit for purpose and all equipment has been approved by Australian Surfacing Supplies as fit for purpose.

Australian Surfacing Supplies guarantees to the client for a 7-year period:

• The surface will be free from significant fading
• The surface will not suffer any significant or unusual breakdown of pile height due to ultra violet degradation

• Failure to complete general preventative maintenance requirements to be carried out by the client, or their representative, is not grounds to invoke full replacement warranty. This particularly refers to the upkeep of required infill.
• The surface is used solely for the purpose for which it is designed and installed. This warranty does not cover pile crush when used indoors with furniture.
• The surface is not willfully or maliciously damaged.
• The warranty does not cover damage by natural disasters.
• Only appropriate footwear is to be used on this surface.
• The surface is cleaned and maintained in accordance with Australian Surfacing Supplies cleaning and maintenance procedures.
• The general maintenance and surface protection guide is followed rigorously throughout surface life.
