Gezolan EPDM is our premium rubber product. This completely synthetic rubber is made by the worlds leading synthetic granules manufacturer. It has an exceptional EPDM content and is coloured for the full thickness of the granule providing superior resistance to ultraviolet (UV) light, fading and wear.
PlayKote Precoat is a more cost-effective alternative for creating bright, engaging and safe rubber surfaces. Non-toxic and inert, our Precoat range is manufactured by coating recycled SBR 2-5 granules (derived from waste tyre reduction) with high-quality pigments and polymers in addition to UV stabilizers. The resulting product is more suitable for the harsh Australian climate and is available in 11 vibrant colours. PlayKote Precoat 2-5mm granules are available in 25kg Bags.
Australian Surfacing Supplies stocks a range of cushion layer materials designed specifically for the use in the wet pour industry. Our rubber crumb is of excellent quality, clean of steel, textile fibre and inert providing a solution for surfacing that requires a high impact absorbing capacity.
PlayKote Synthetic Grass Infill is non-toxic and inert, obtained by coating rubber granules with pigments and resins fitted with the most reliable UV stabilisers. PlayKote is obtained by mechanical grinding from the end of life tires, producing an excellent quality of the product, clean of steel, textile fibre and inert, possessing all the characteristics for synthetic grass infill that correspond to international specifications (FIFA).
Infill settles into the turf and supports the blades keeping them erect and protecting the mesh fabric that holds everything together. It can easily be combined with sand to create a durable, long lasting infill that will prevent the sand from packing together or holding odours. For heavy traffic areas, it prevents the grass from being packed down by offering firmer support. It also helps by absorbing the shock of constant footsteps.

Installation Details
ITEMS YOU WILL NEED to carry out the repair
Gloves – We recommend you use both a Latex glove and a Rubber Glove
Sharp Stanley Knife – Heavy duty Retractable Knife for cutting the rubber surface.
Straight edge trowel – This can used for cutting a straight edge with the knife and for screeding the rubber granules.
Washing Liquid – Small amount of washing liquid in water enough to put your trowel into.
Bucket – For water/Washing Liquid
Stirring Handle – You could use an old broom handle or anything that you will easily mix the rubber and binder together. You could easily do this wearing the Rubber Gloves and mixing by hand. Do not mix the granules / binder with just the Latex gloves or no gloves at all.
Small Paint Brush – Use the brush to apply binder around the inside of the existing rubber surface, this will help the new surface bond to the old surface.
Tape Measure – You may need this to check the thickness and area size.
Cleaning your tools after use- You can use White Spirit or warm soapy water and a clean cloth or brush.
Instructions:
1. Cut a straight edge, using the straight edge trowel around the perimeter of the damaged rubber surface.
2. Clean out the area, remove all loose rubber, soil and vegetation.
3. With the small paint brush place a small amount of binder on to the brush and coat around the edge of the inside of the damaged area only.
4. Pour the rest of the binder onto the granules in the large tub. Mix the rubber and binder together until all granules are coated with binder. Use either a mixing stick or large rubber waterproof gloves. (Put the Latex gloves on first and wear these at all times).
5. Pour a small amount of rubber into the damaged area. Dip the trowel into the soapy water, this will prevent the rubber from sticking to the trowel. Press and screed until level, repeat until the area is filled and at the same thickness of the existing surface.
6. Once completed place the empty binder bottle, brush, latex gloves, and any other rubbish into the large tub and dispose of as per your local refuse regulations.
7. Leave area to cure for at least 24 hours.

Bonded Rubber Mulch is created from recycled car tyre rubber. It is designed to be installed with Polyurethane Binder, creating a fixed surface. This recycled product exhibits a natural bark appearance accompanied by the reduced need for ongoing maintenance compared to alternatives like loose bark.
As Bonded Rubber Mulch naturally blends in with various surroundings, this is an ideal surfacing product for Pathways, Golf Courses, Residential Spaces, Schools, Parks, Playgrounds and Child Care centres.
Tree pits are another ideal surfacing application for Bonded Rubber mulch due to the permeability and fixed nature of the installed product, preventing it from blowing away like loose bark would. The porosity of this surface (enabling water to penetrate through to tree roots) increases when an aggregate base is also utilised in the installation process, ensuring the surface drains sufficiently especially in areas prone to flooding and high use.
